Take A Kid Mountain Biking!

THIS Saturday October 3rd is IMBA's annual Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day! ZOIC is all about getting more kids on bikes with friends and family. This year we are proud to partner once again with Trips for Kids to achieve this goal.

3 EASY WAYS YOU CAN HELP

1) Take A Kid Mountain Biking! How easy is *that*?

2) Bid on bike items in the Trips for Kids auction on eBay.

3) Purchase at ZOIC.com & we'll donate 10%.

Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day (TKMBD) is an annual event created by the International Mountain Biking Association to introduce the joy of mountain biking to the next generation. TKMBD is officially celebrated every year on the first Saturday in October.

This year IMBA chapters are unable to organize group rides, but don't let that stop YOU from getting out with your kids this Saturday. Plan your day, prep your bikes, then use the sweet rider cards IMBA has created to engage your kids and share on social media with #TKMBD.

#2 - Bid in the Trips for Kids Auction

All this week Trips for Kids is hosting an online auction via eBay featuring tons of great stuff cyclists love, including 2 $100 gift cards to ZOIC.com for just $75 each.

Trips for Kids provides transformational cycling experiences to young people, especially those most in need. Through chapters across the US & Canada, they have engaged over 230,000 kids in bike related programs serving a diverse population - 23% of participating youth are Black, 34% are Latino, 28% are White, and 15% are Asian, Native American, Pacific Islander, and other ethnicities. This youth bicycling nonprofit organization was established in 1988 by founder Marilyn Price, who has been inducted into the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame and honored as a CNN Hero for her work.

ZOIC is the original mountain bike lifestyle brand. We have been a longtime supporter of Trips for Kids and getting more kids active outdoors. In 2019 we celebrated the 25th anniversary of Trips for Kids by providing free bike shorts to their 25 campers at the Sea Otter Classic bike festival.
