Where can we find you out riding?
Late summer through late spring I'm mostly riding in Sedona or Flagstaff. Flagstaff is my gravity riding place of choice and it's laden with world class DH trails. Sedona, as most mountain bikers know is packed with worthy trails that challenge even the most discerning riders.It really is difficult to pick a favorite trail in Sedona. I've been competing in the DVO Winter Gravity Series at Bootleg Canyon near Las Vegas for many years and it's a great scene. The Moab Ho Down is another favorite of mine.The Sedona Fat Tire Mountain Bike Festival has turned into a premier festival which is so exciting for me, having watch the birth of mountain biking in Sedona 35 years ago. I participated in the Chugach Fat Tire Bash in Veldez, Alaska this last winter and the photos and videos of that should be coming out this season.
Favorite post-ride food or drink:
A home cooked meal and apple juice... and a beer.
What are you getting into this year?
I would like to continue riding as much as possible which is usually 3-5 times a week. This year instead taking our regular summer mtb and coaching tour of the states. Within the community, my goal is to continue with the trail building and maintenance in Sedona and Flagstaff.
