I was looking for a convertible pair of pants that had removable zippered legs to make them into shorts again. The Black Market Convertible Cycling Pants are just that. I love the canvas belt with the locking hasp to keep the pants up on your waist. The removable legs have a pull down reflective fabric for night rides and you can put them away so there aren't visible if you were to wear them as pants on a hike. The Right Hand zippered pocket is a little tight to get an iPhone 12 Pro with an Otterbox Symmetry cover in and out of. Wish it were just a bit wider. The weight of the material is perfect for cool night rides, but I'm still not certain if it will work or winter rides. I wear an XL in the Ether MTB shorts and they only had the Large in stock when I ordered these and they fit well, but a little tight in the thighs. As one other customer had suggested, a bottom vertical zipper would be nice to allow for removing the lower legs w/o having to remove your shoes. Great product overall. Would recommend.
I'm really liking these pants. I wore them as pants for a recent camping trip and zipped off the legs for a morning ride. I wear a Large in Zoic riding shorts but decided to go with the XL in these. Fit is good.
Awesome! I’m 5’9” 170 and the large was perfect fit. Looks great, comfortable on or off bike. I where knee pads under with no issues. The weight is good for chilly days. Zoic just has good stuff.
Extremely well made riding pants. Comfortable and stretchy in the thigh and tapered / narrow down low to ensure a safe riding experience. Haven’t converted them to shorts as I wear the many Ether shorts I have. Wish there were a few more color options and I’d buy them all, I’m 5’8” 163lbs and I wear a size Large. Great fit and adjustability. Look no further.
I bought a pair of the Black Market cycling convertible pants for a bike tour in 2014. They were great. A few years ago I checked your website and you no longer listed them. But now you list them again and available in my size. I will be ordering another pair in a few minutes as my old pair shows some age and use.
They fit a bit slim, where the zipper is, that fits snug on my leg, but not too tight.
From the photos it looks like the reflective material has changed since the pair that I bought in 2014 were made.
I have one suggestion if you re-design them, I have to take my shoes off on my old 2014 pair to get the legs off, a short zipper at the bottom would have been nice to make that easier.
