Being a stocky guy, I tend to have a hard time finding "athletic" pants and shorts that fit comfortably but these right here are perfect! Not too long, and enough room in the waist to see me through the holiday season.
Chilly mornings on into the warmer part of the day, these just feel right.
I live in DC and I cycling everywhere. You really can’t tell their cycling pants. They have deep pockets without zippers so your wallet and keys don’t fall out. You don’t have that geeky look in normal settings. They don’t stain easily. Perfect for a guy who needs cycling pants but doesn’t need to look like a cyclist.
These ride pants fit great! They’re super comfortable with lots of pockets for storage and nice ventilation to keep you cool.
Disclaimer: These are the first MTB pants I've owned, so I have nothing to compare them to (other than a couple other brands I only tried on--and passed on buying because they weren't working for me). That said, I'm STOKED on these; they are a GREAT pair of pants for riding. They're the only bottoms I've worn through the winter months here on the central coast of California. They've kept me warm in early morning high-30's/low-40's, and aren't too warm when the weather is in the 60's.
What these ARE: Super comfy, lightweight, thin but durable, slightly stretchy, somewhat slim, appropriately cut at the ankle opening (no chain rub). Pockets are sufficient for my needs; I don't usually use the phone pocket but an iPhone 11 in a slim case fits in there, albeit somewhat snugly. I generally wear a 30/31 waist (I'm a true 32" according to the measuring tape); upon purchase, these were perfect without cinching the side adjusters. A couple months in, and the waist has stretched a little--enough so that I now use the adjusters just a wee-bit.
What they're NOT: super heavy-duty, thick, waterproof. Nor are they advertised as such.
These pants look and fit great, and I have no complaints. I find myself wanting to keep wearing them when I'm off the bike.
I own a couple pair of Zoic Ether shorts and love them, so had to get a pair of these pants after seeing the Facebook ads. They are great for cool days, and look good both on and off the trails. Although lightweight, I couldn't believe how tough they are. I was riding a tech section and hit my knee on a rock when slipping off the pedal. I looked down expecting to see a rip, but there was none. Very pleased with them. I'm 5'9", 165 lbs with a 32 waist and sized up to a large based on how my other flat back Zoic shorts fit. The adjustable waist helped me dial in the perfect fit.
