I like them so much I bought a second pair

I live in south Texas, and it is HOT and humid here, especially in the summer. The Ventor short (and sometimes the Ventor liner) is super comfortable and cool — as cool as one can get when the heat index is in the triple digits!
The zipper pockets are great. They are deep, and the side zipper pocket fits my phone. If I had bought the iPhone 16 Pro Max, it would have stuck out a bit, but I can zip it closed with the Pro.
As for the Ventor liners, which I mentioned above, they are fantastic under these shorts. They have one of the best pads Zoic makes, IMHO.
My one request for the short would be a 9" short.

Almost perfect

My only negative is they are a little tighter than the rest of my Zoic shorts, but the lightweight and ventilation are perfect for the desert southwest.

Lightest shorts I own

These shorts are truly light weight and the material breathes great. My go to on warm days. Definitely on the slim fit side, I needed to size up.

This short checks all the boxes. Light, breathable, and not too baggy.
